TURKEY

Turkey, which has territory in Asia and European continents, has a strategic area and a very rich history. The Turks, who started to settle in Anatolia since 1071, are indigenous to the region since then. The Turkish nation, who see many empires and wars, established the Republic of Turkey with the War of Independence.

Turkey is one of the developing countries. With its industry focused on the machinery industry, summer-winter tourism opportunities, fertile agricultural areas and improved transportation opportunities, it is one of the preferable countries in investment. Turkey adopts free trade and makes international trade easier by signing special agreements with many countries.

TURKEY AND AFRICA

Turkey, especially during the Ottoman Empire ruled a very large territory. Most of these lands were on the African continent. Thanks to the Turkish-African relations that started in this period, a common culture and history were formed.

After 1960, African countries began to declare their independence and slowly appoint their economic destinies like the Republic of Turkey at the 1920s. Since then, many countries, especially China, have seen Africa as a market and started to sell various products to this region.

Turkey gave importance to relations with Africa, especially since 1998. Turkey aimed to make the sale of products that provide more value-added instead of end-product selling. Turkey's plan is a relationship like a business partnership with Africa and began to make productive works them.

CITIZENSHIP IN TURKEY

Turkish Citizenship Law (Law No. 5901) describes procedures about citizenship. For foreigners, there are different methods to acquire Turkish Citizenship. 2 mainly methods;

  • General Applications (Marriage, Residence Permit, Turquoise Card, etc.)
  • Application Through Investment

The government specifies the rules of Turkish Citizenship by Investment. Turkey wants to give a chance for a comfortable life with citizenship facilities to foreigners who benefit to Turkey.
