Joshua Cheptegei Was Nominated for Male Athlete of The Year

Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda is one of the 11 candidates for the IAAF’s male athletes.

He was the first Ugandan to be nominated for a prestigious award.

This year, Cheptegei was shown in athletics for winning the World Cross Country Champion, the World 10,000m Champion, and the 5000m Diamond League.

The Ugandan athlete will try to join the hosts of other African athletes in Kenya, Algeria, and Ethiopia, which won the prestigious award.
