Ethiopia to have a tax cut on sugar, dropping the previous rate of 33% down to 20%. This is done in a bid to attract private investments after proposing a move to privatize the industry and this is not the only industry that the government looks to privatize. This comes after the President promises to open a vast range of previously state run industries from telecoms to logistic in a bid to look for foreign investment within the country.
