On Thursday, Egypt made two archaeological discoveries in Luxor, including an industrial zone in the southern West Valley, also known as the Valley of the Apes.
In a statement made by the Ministry of Antiquities, it was announced that Egyptian archaeologists conducted 30 workshops in the industrial zone. Zahi Hawass, the leader of the excavation team, said that there are many ancient potteries in the area cleaning materials, the houses, and funeral furniture.
Since 2017, the team has been working in the Monkey Valley on the west coast of Luxor.
The statement says the production area includes a deep storage tank and a water storage tank used by workers.
The discoveries are the latest among the latest findings from a series of antiquities, which Egypt hopes to revive a tourism business that has suffered from political imbalance.
