The ruling African National Congress pledged to accelerate land reform in South Africa. 25 years after the racial segregation that divided South Africa, opposition to this decision to correct housing and land inequality and criticism came from commercial farmers.
President Cyril Ramposa said the planned reform would not harm food security and the economy.
