Zimbabwe Fired More Than 200 Doctors

On Friday (November 8th), Zimbabwe dismissed more than 200 public doctors who had been on strike for more than two months.

On Wednesday, police prevented protest march made of public employees on government offices for better wages.

The monthly salaries of doctors in state hospitals are 2000 Zimbabwe dollars, approximately 130 dollars.

Zimbabwe has been struggling with shortages of foreign exchange, fuel, energy, and medicine due to the worst economic crisis of the last decade.
