UNECA Urges African Countries to Strengthen Their Economic Resilience

The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on Thursday urged African countries to develop policies that can help build resilience and inclusion if the continent is to achieve its development goals at continental and international levels.

“Africa desperately needs policies of diversification and structural transformation to better support its industrialization and strengthen intra-African trade through the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA) which modifies the game”, said Mr. Elhiraika, director of the Division of Macroeconomics and Governance at UNECA.

CENTER FOR AFRICAN STUDIES

Center for Africa Studies (AFRAM) which located in Ankara, is an organization facilitating under the administration of African Affairs Council (AFAC). It makes various researches about Africa to enhance economic and cultural bounds between Africa and Turkey. AFRAM’s publishings has been shared with different institutions as they require to obtain.
