13 Civilians Were Killed in Burkina Faso

According to a report Monday (October 29th), 13 civilians were killed by armed groups during the weekend in Northern Burkina Faso. This caused residents to escape from the village of Pobe-Mangao to the capital Djibo.

Security sources said the reinforcements were distributed to the villages early Sunday evening to protect the area.

Burkina Faso has been exposed to the violence of Al Qaeda and other jihadist movements for almost five years.
